Me 1st time celebrate Ken's bday as his partner

Yeah, this is not suppose 2 b a new post but he jz gave me these pixs 2 days ago n i have no idea wat n how 2 edit so, here's a raw shots of his bday celebration.

His bday was on 10th May, Monday. Since he doesn't have 2 work on Mon, so I planned 2 got off work on time n fetch him 2 Delicious @ Dua Residency Jalan Tun Razak. I had make booking a week before his big day. On Monday, I skipped lunch and with kind help from Winsen who fetch me to and fro office and Delicious Restaurant (n i dun even have time 2 lunch wit him), I dropped Ken's bday present (d Sensonic GPS bot from PC fair) n select a slice of bday cake 4 him, a piece of Macadamia cheesecake. Yummy!

It was terrible jam, @ 6pm++ jz after office hours n I was f**king hungry coz I din had lunch n was very excited, fetched Ken, his bday ma so I was his chauffeur for d nite lor head towards CITY CENTRE Jalan Tun Razak. Shots some pix, ordered Carbonara Spaghettini, Pan Sear Cod, Prawn Cocktails, Mango Smoothie n Watermelon juice. When v finished d meal, d waitress deliver d cake n Ken's bday present n sang bday song 2 him. I hope he had a nice surprise!!!

I think my mom's bday is also somewher in May n last weekend v oni went to 118 food court @ pandan perdana 2 for dinner. Bro + KC bot a very nice mango moose cake for mom *aww, so sweet*. Anyway, v alwaz bring mom out for nice dinner n v dun wanna go for expensive n tasteless food on tat special day. plus, v alwaz love mom so it's not oni special on Mother's Day but on daily basis (kinda :P)

First, I would like to wish my only Jie Jie, Thoong Bee Leng a Happy Birthday! Wish u cheong meang pak shui, ching choon mei lai, san tai kin hong, sang sang seng seng and guai guai teng wah.

Anyway, I had sms her 12.50pm last nite when she's still working in office and she jz called me to show off tat she took a day off n brought mom 2 neway 2 sing k. wtf, never ajak me.

I think d actual stories started 2 weekends ago (3rd April 2010), where Amily gave birth 2 a cute bb gal. I was in d labor room wit Amily while Jeff + Ken was chatting downstairs. She's having her contraction pain. Doc said it's suppose to be at every 5-3 min interval but she's having it kinda regular. More regular than 5 years ago b4 Catherine Lai gave birth to Jun Jun and Amily looked more painful.

I was standing there whole body shaking not knowing wat 2 do. I wanna talk 2 her, 2 disattract her from d pain but I doesn't know if I'm suppose 2 let her relax and concentrate on controlling d pain. Then v decided 2 call d nurse in. I tot if she need 2 check on Amily's opening, she wud ask me 2 leave d room, but she din. She very "selamba" put on a disposable glove and go underneath d cloth, I'm still ok. But when she lifted up her hand 2 take off d gloves, it was full of blood, I alsmost can't stand straightly. D nurse was very nice, telling Amily & me in details tat she's not fully open yet. Asked Amily not 2 push coz it's not fully open yet. Then I tell d nurse tat she's in great pain and she jz smile n said it's normal, it's like tat. Somemore take a look @ me n tease me, when it's ur turn, u'll know it's normal. wtf.

I told Amily let's give me a few mins break, I go down n look for Ken n for her 2 rest awhile. So I went out n Ken is waiting outside while Jeff was away for awhile. I told Ken about my experience. Turns out he oso scared of listening 2 horror stories about blood. He can sees blood but he can't listen 2 stories. weird guy, i know. But he gave me a hug n said it's ok.

When I wanna enter d labor room n accompany Amily again, d door is closed n d nurse said tat she's ready and doctor is on his way coming up 2 deliver d bb. I quickly call Jeffrey and he reached jz in time 2 c his bb gal coming out from d labor room. Jeffrey was really happy smilling from ear to ear non stop. I hope he'll b a good daddy n no doubt Amily is a great mom.

I went home tat day n tell my mom about my experience, gave her a big hug n remind her tat she's d best! 2 months ago on my bday, I did bring her out dinner, jz d 2 of us. For d recent few years, this is wat I did, celebrate my bday wit mom, thanking her wit jz a normal dinner. I also tell Cecillia & Daniel about this n get them 2 kiss Thoong Bee Leng n tell her tat they love her.

Another incident tat makes me think tat my mom is really d best was yesterday. I had my dinner and slept early on Tuesday nite so on Wednesday morning I went for a body check (blood test & urine test). For d past 3 years I did my body check up 2gether wit mom. Everytime b4 d doctor poke me n take my blood I will hug n close my eyes behind mom coz I m really scared. This year I went alone, thinking it was ok. I reach there a bit nervous. Then I call Amanda n May while waiting for d doctor 2 come. I doesn't wanna call my new love aka d silly 1 coz I dun wanna wake him up, but at last I called him n he sounded very much still sleeping.

Doctor arrive n I'm really really scared. He said it's not pain but I won't blif him. I asked for a nurse n hugged her while I can feel d doctor poke me n take my blood. I'm all shaking n very close 2 tears. It seems like eternity n I can't stop shaking. Finally it's done but I'm very exhausted so I tell d doctor tat I'll come bak 2 do pap smear wit his wife when I collect report coz I'm really shy.

Bak @ office, I started 2 cry coz I'm still scared. Called d silly 1 n he still sounded sleepy and once he heard me cry, I think tat wakes him up. V actually decide not 2 meet up but he still come n lunch wit me n I was down coz I'm still traumatised n he knew I wasn't d usual happy n bubly me. He asked wat's wrong but din push when i dun feel like talking. Tat evening, b4 he starts work, he called me n ask if i'm ok n said tat he's worry about me. I'm touched knowing tat he's bz esp on Wed but he still call me 2 check on me n 2 comfort me. I smsed him telling him tat when he's so nice n caring 2 me, I fall in love wit him even more.

Last nite I went out dinner wit Mr Y. V plan 2 go 2 Full House @ Sunway but I wanna try Bubba Gump shrimp and v did. V also plan for Haagen Daz after dinner but they r closed then v went 2 Baskin Robbins which is also close. fml. Dinner was nice, chatting n spending time wit Mr Y is also nice but he gave me long lecture about my future n this guy tat I wanna date.

Now I gotta think wat 2 do this weekend n where 2 bring Thoong Bee Leng for nice food.

Hoong's bday + Great Family Weekend

After the Genting trip, it's now time 2 spend more time wit family. Sat v went 2 TGIF @ 1 Utama 2 celebrate Hoong's bday. V purposely choose TGIF coz v wan them 2 sing bday song n embarrass Hoong. The food was nice n every1 was laffing.

Tat nite, Daniel stayed over @ my hse, obviously bcoz he wanna play Wii. Mom, KC + prawn played mahjong while Daniel + Hoong was playing wii.

Sunday v went 2 Lot 10 Food Court, KL for dinner + Low Yat for Wii Games CD. It is said tat "Choy Lan" a fat man who got famous eating lotsa nice things have selected all d best food in KL 2 b placed under 1 roof, which is Lot 10 food court. From blogs tat KC read reviews d pork knuckle and beef noodle as 1 of d most recommended food. V ordered porridges, bak kut teh, mango dessert, wan tan mee etc. Personally, I love d beef noodle.

Feb babies bday celebrations + Genting Highland CNY 2010

Last Thurs nite, many of us gather @ Carine hse 2 celebrate February - born -  babies bday celebration which is mine on 12th, KC's on 25th n Carine's on 26th.

On Fri after lunch, Brenda, Pauline + Cason, Catherine, Carine + Lai, Lau Kam and myself went 2 Genting Highlands. It has been ages since I last went 2 Genting. When v were schooling, v alwaz planned trips 2 Genting 2gether. It was a good idea bcoz it was damn hot in KL but unfortunately I wasn't feeling so well thus I vomited on d way up (Sorry Cason) and feeling like wanna vomit again on d way down (Sorry Lau Kam). I've long known tat I will feel dizzy goin up n down all those turnings @ Genting + Cameron but this time I felt really bad. My head is spinning and I can't even talk. Sorry guys if I spoilt ur trip.

Reached d peak, v went 2 Coffee Bean n all of us ordered ice blended. Hong (who was there wit his family) came 2 join us for a drink. He got some casino chips worth RM500 and RM100. Most of us who never see those b4 took some funny pixs. Best awards goes 2 Pauline, whom initial idea is 2 cover her eyes wit it but I can't find tat pix. kekeke

 

After tat, Brenda, Cath, Carine + prawn went shopping while d guys + Pauline tried their luck @ casino. V took so many pixs wit Carine's camera and I bot a pair of shoes + a pair of earings there. It's really cute, white high heals wit a small blue ribbon and a love pendant in front. The earings are red ribbons.

When v were leaving Genting for dinner @ Janda Baik, I kept on saying sorry 2 Lau Kam, genuinely feeling embarrassing for all d trouble tat he gotta drive slower than his usual speed n also bcoz he gotta stop whenever I feel like vomitting. But he said out a very direct truth (truth really hurts) tat makes me think n vow 2 b better. He said, no need so hak hey, if I'm ur bf, sure u scold me gaw gaw liao. Secretly in my heart I know wat he said is VERY TRUE. I hope in future if I get a bf, I will b nice n polite 2 him as how I treat my frens. I must keep on reminding myself tat he dun owe it 2 me 2 b good 2 me n I really gotta appreciate him. Thanks Lau Kam for tat wake up call although I really no energy 2 fight wit u. B4 this oso, Tracy Ooi + I oso discuss on this topic where she gave me such advise b4. Thanks Tracy & I hope our friendship remains long & u will alwaz remind me of this advise. Hugs!

Then v went 2 Janda Baik for a restaurant recommended by Pauline. D food there was superb and Lau Kam + Cason treat us coz they won @ casino. Yeah! Thanks, dudes!

V had:
1. 4 steam prawns wit slightly wine flavor (each of us get half of d big 生虾).

Total is about RM250.00

       

It was a nice trip except tat I wasn't feeling 2 well.
